I run TAG under ver 3.0 with no fix packs install'd.  I would say if your 
gona set up a lan, go for ver 4.0 (current)..  Should be easier to get 4.0 
anyway..  :}
You should be able to run a few nodes on one machine.
First thing you should get is SIO which is a communication's driver like a 
fossil driver (sorta).  It should be on most of the share ware sites on the 
webb..
If you get brave, you could switch to a OS/2 native BBS s/a Adept which I am 
converting to.
