Right now the only way I can do things natively is through a Lantronix box, which means Telent. I've actually set up a BinkD on my PC and will just have to FTP it. I've been testing it with Nick Andre's system for UseNet and if it works, I can use it for the BinkP only. I just found it "rolling on the floor" funny that RETRONET doesn't have a way for old machines on Lantronix boxes to telnet in to get their network. It wasn't so much a question of how to do it, it was that I really wanted to make my old Atari ST BBS completely PC independent. But I guess we all need a little help from our "new fangled cousins" from time to time. --- RATSoft/FIDO v09.14.95 [JetMail 1.01] (1:2215/1701.0)PH> --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A31 (Windows) * Origin: Agency BBS | * Origin: STar Fleet HQ - Atari BBS Running RatSoft ST! bbs.sfhqbbs.org:5983 |
