From: "Rich Gauszka"

And how many people will keep sales receipts for 4 year old computers
running XP when Microsoft starts challenging their rights to run Windows?

A prove you are not a thief campaign would not surprise me. At least my
notebook, raid array and media server are now free of Microsoft's taint.
It's a shame as I would have never even thought of going through this
expense a year ago. Previously I might complain about Microsoft but I never
expected the deactivation insanity now issuing forth from Redmond.
