RM> That 40 engine will fly the Trainer 40 but don't expect a real

RM> market - I feel the SF series or Super Tigre engines are better for
RM> the Trainer 40. The HP series ARE mild-powered, easy to start, and
RM> very economical in fuel consumption, and they do not cost "an arm and
RM> a leg" like the others.
It seemed adequate for the trainer though it probably won't run as
well in the new plane since it has a bit of binding as a result of
the crash. I'll replace it if I have to.
RM> There are many pilots who don't like to build, don't have time or
RM> space - that's what keeps me going - I have been building for others
RM> now for 2 years...and have been so busy this year that I haven't had
RM> time to build for myself...ugh !
The cobbler has bad shoes, eh?
Actually, I enjoy building but it entices me away from all the
unpleasant things I should be doing.
RM> Good luck - keep the birds flying - the hobby is a great sport. We
RM> hope to see you again on the echo. TTYL - Roger
Thanks, I'll try to be a bit more active in the echo.
