I usually have two or three command windows open, so I don't find that
feature all that exciting.

I have Windows equivalents of most *n*x utilities; it eases the pain
somewhat.

There's one thing I miss in vi that's standard in GUI editors:
the ability to cut/copy and paste between two different windows.
