I'm currently reading 'The Curious Eat Themselves' by Straley. It is really
good also. He does a great job of setting the scene with little naunces of
detail that bring it to life, for me at least.
As I said in another message, I read Stephen Humphrey Bogart's book, 'Play it

characters are so stilted and 2 dimensional. Spends too much time describing
the sexual exploits of the hero, too little on the plot.
