The state of south carolina does not certify EMT's to work in
hospitals.. I have a friend that lost her paramedic certificate because
she started working for a doctors office and the doctor agreed to sign
for her as medical control but the state turned her down because she was
not working on an ambulance and said that she need to call the state
board of nursing..why I don't know.. The state has said they plan on
lossing all non-active EMT's..and that part time does not get it.
