In my more reflective moments, I oft wonder if the world's perception of
Microsoft would be different if the DoJ and the judge had been tougher on
Microsoft.   Perhaps Bush letting Microsoft off easy may have raised the
suspicion of the company in the eyes of the world.   If Bush had shown
that he was willing to punish Microsoft appropriately for its MS's felony
acts, perhaps the world might not be so wary of MS.

Now, it appears, the only way to stop Microsoft's abusive monopoly is
through the use of Open Source.
