Yep - I tried one of those table lamps with an LED array -  wondered why it
wasn't as bright when I was reading at night and saw I lost about a third
of the LEDs. While it may ( or not ) have been due to LED burnout it still
amounted to the same thing - an awful dim reading lamp.
