Do you change your node number and name when submitting the message to make
it appear that the moderator sent it?

If you do, the moderator's name and node number address has been forged.

See above for the conditions

If you are creating messages that have the name of the moderator and the
moderator's node number as the origin, then you have forged his name and
address.

Only you can tell us if that's how you update echoes for folks. If that's
your method, please cease and desist.
