Vista runs in a VM. Some ( myself included ) have had re-activation issues
with Vista when the MAC address of the Virtual Machine's network adapter
has been set to dynamic ( appears to be the default in VMware - not sure
about Parallels ).  Once I changed my VM MAC address to fixed my
re-activation problems went away
