Is not. I've tried to teach my father in law to use it, because he bought a
laptop about a year ago without Office. He was a bit shocked at what Office
costs, so we downloaded OO, and I wrote several pages of instructions with
screenshots about the common tasks, and we spent several hours going
through it.
For a person who has long experience with Office, OO is not just as easy.
He was frustrated enough to go and buy Office eventually.

I kinda like it, but it has one big problem: it's reaaaally slooooowww.
I've got a whopping 800Mhz system, and it takes up to about half a minute
or more to start any of the OO apps, while Word pops up in (testing) about
3 seconds. Strange, and strangely annoying. I would have thought that it
wouldn't bother me so much, but it does.
