Well, Rick Parish ported over Renegade to Win32, and it boots, loads, runs, etc. But there are still some bugs. Being I don't run anything Win32 (doors, etc), I will never use this build. The bugs I noticed so far in the Win32 build is : 1. Status bar only displays on key press and is not static as it should be. 2. File/Msg areas just scroll through and don't pause .. actually anything that had a page break doesn't prompt for a keypress to continue. Door32.sys support has been in the code for years, as we had a mock way of running door32 doors via the dos based system back in 2004, but it ate memory a shit ton and really wasn't that great, but worked. Command key if D3 is I remember correctly for the drop file. Have no tried file transfers nor running a door via Door32 on the Win32 build. Anyone wanna take a crack at it, visit the Github source page and join in the coding. My only requirment is that the build still runs and compile in DOS exe's as well. http://renegadebbs.info and click on SOURCE CODE to take you there. Enjoy! ...
