Fret not.

1. The CPU can take care of itself (throttle down).

2. My pitiful iBook 12 1.3GHz G4 runs 50C most of the time; 55 when working hard.

3. If you need something to worry about, worry about the HD.  Mine gets to
62C during heavy disk access.  I hate that.  That means that Jobs had to
buy a "special" for my model.  (Retail HDs generally spin down if
they hit 55-57C.) I wonder why the fan hardly ever turns on until the HD
temp hits the mid-sixties.  This is not good for disk life.  So I bought
the Care package.
