Switch backup products? Switch to ECC memory?
I'm willing ot suggest the problem may be bad memory. I've seen cases where
the server is fine and so are backup, until a certain area of memory is
touched by backups and bingo, down comes the server.
You might consider using SBACKUP that comes with Netware. I know, no bells
and whistles. Price is right however.
