Nope, I know what I'm lookin' at there:
Area 304
FileAccess DISGRACE
Download Y:\APPS\MISC
FileList E:\MAX3\FILE\Misc_Cd.BBS
Upload M:\MAX\FILE\INBOUND\UPLOADS\
End Area
"Fileaccess" rather than "ACS", "FileInfo" rather than "Desc" (which I've
already deleted from these), no "Type CD", etc.

I don't use file divisions here.

That's the one that just arrived here, but the one I was referring to above
was 02.

See above.

I've got a whole set of file areas here that don't seem to want to match up
with what's out there on cd's, at least not that I've seen. So no
matter what, I've *still* got a lot of work to do. I took a _copy_ of my
filearea.ctl file, started with that, ran the utility, and went from
ere.
I've already hit bunches of stuff where I don't like where they put it and so
I've had to go ahead and generate some more *.bbs files, and then get
explicit about paths in there. Good thing both max and HLIST like that
okay...

Yeah, I just happened to notice your name in there when I was looking at the
version that just got here...
Does it allow for longer descriptions when you tell it to put 'em all on one
line? That was a bit of a disappointment with the earlier version, in that
I took one look at what I'd ended up with and ran it again with the stuff on
separate lines, editing that too.
One other thing I have to add in there for my situation, for what it's
worth, is a pair of brackets for a download counter. I suppose I could have
a go at letting the software initialize those files, but since it talks
about working with a directory rather than a filelist I don't know how well
it'd handle it. Not a big deal, I usually edit the heck out of descriptions
anyhow...
