-> I checked your links. The ABC news blog quotes the NY Daily News -> extensively as their source. They are a right wing mouthpiece Of course they are, Bob! They must be! They reported things that you didn't like! "A former commander of a group that has at times aligned with Al Qaeda in Iraq, the Islamic Army of Iraq, Abu Azzam al Tamimi, told Al Arabiya television on January 18, 2008, that Iran 'interferes in every aspect in Iraq.' When asked whom Iran supports, Mr. al Tamimi said, "Everybody it works with the government, with the opponents of the government, with the opponents of the government's opponents, with Al-Qaeda, with the enemies of Al-Qaeda, with the militias, with the enemies of the militias ... Iran spreads its investments everywhere with the Shiites, the Sunnis, and the Kurds,"" -> The Family Security matters has a number of sources, some of which I -> checked out, none of which prove the case. Of course they didn't, in your eyes! They couldn't! They don't agree with your preconceptions! -> and one claims Bin Laden's son was operating out of Iran Actually it didn't say that at all. It said he had been given safe haven in Iran. That is old news to everyone but you, I guess. The US tried to catch him. He escaped to Iran. There are reports that Iran offered to turn him over as part of a deal for releasing various Iranians, but that never came about. -> The 9-11 report shows Iran allegedly working with Al Qaeda, right -> after the Afghan war, when they were not yet established as a -> significant terror operation outside of Afghanistan. So much foolishness in one sentence. Connections running from 1991 to 2001. You are complaining about the Commission focusing on the time BEFORE the 9/11 attacks in 2001. You forgot the NAME of the Commission? And you believe that Al Qaeda was not significant even BEFORE it went to Afghanistan, and that it was not significant AFTER being moved out of Afghanistan? --- PCBoard (R) v15.3/M 10* Origin: (1:226/600) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/300 34/999 90/1 106/1 120/228 123/500 134/10 140/1 226/0 SEEN-BY: 236/150 249/303 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 1417 1418 266/1413 SEEN-BY: 280/1027 320/119 633/260 267 712/848 800/432 2222/700 2320/100 105 SEEN-BY: 2320/200 2905/0 @PATH: 226/600 123/500 261/38 633/260 267 |
