subject: Diving in Florida

Hi Steve,

SE> MR>SE> Well, I'm still running to the Keys every free weekend, and
SE> MR>SE> I've got plans for a week in Cayman later this year, and a
SE> MR>SE> trip or two to the Bahamas.
SE> MR>
SE> MR>I'm jealous!!!! But that is one of those reasons why I would
SE> MR>eventually like to move to Florida, I know every state has
SE> MR>their bad things but this state is really getting bad and
SE> MR>I'm sick of it.
SE>
SE> Hey, I used to do the same thing when I lived in southern California
SE> I was either on Catalina Island or in San Diego's Wreck Alley every
SE> free weekend.

That is southern CA, I am in Northern, CA and it is Monterey or Lake
Tahoe or the icky slimmy lakes or the undercurrent in the rivers which
have claimed many a life and I know some people who've done diving
there only to find a body, Kind of wrecks the enjoyment of diving.

Now, I might feel different if I lived in Southern, CA---Although I
love the country and the landscape here the nearby coast has alot of
sneaker waves and undercurrents, So Like I said its the Monterey coast
or it is Lake Tahoe, which is an altitude dive. which I am not trained
for yet since you have to go to special training for that.

Now, I always did love the southern coast, When I was little I lived
near Redondo Beach and Torrence Beach in southern, CA that is where my
love of the water came from.

Well, TAlk to you later, need to run errands, Marianne
