It cuts both ways, Rich. If you write it to run well on most =
platforms, you
need compatability libs to run it on Windows. If you write it to run =

Personally, I'm quite happy with the performance of the few open =
source apps
that I use. Though developed on Linux, they generally port to OS/2 =
with
minimal effort. Good thing too, if it were hard no-one would bother =
and I'd
have to look harder at swapping my systems to Linux.
