You need to be registered with an individual newsline site.  There are now 
around 20 in the U.S.  None of them have 800 service to other states or 
Canada.  It is quite costly to provide 800 service, while it is free to you 
the caller, someone, (the provider) has to pay.
 
I believe CNIB has been talking to the NFB about newsline though, so you may 
get it in Canada.
