If you missed last week's announcement by the Federal Trade Commission, yet
another company has come under the Federal Trade Commission's attack on
business opportunity schemes.
Computer Business Services, Inc. (CBSI) has agreed to pay $5 million in
redress to settle FTC claims of false and misleading advertising. The $5
million will be returned to consumers who bought their home business
opportunities.
If you have purchased a CBSI "center" (what they called their opportunities),
the Federal Trade Commision will contact you about what to do to file a
claim. If you don't want to wait until they contact you, you can send a
letter to the Chicago Regional Office to request information. <<
