No it doesn't.
Not many train their Pit bulls to be safe and absolutely trustworthy
even around kids tha can tease and torment a dog.
For me that was absolutely mandatory.
The dog wasn't even neutered.

I don't need a bad dog either to protect me r to feel macho.
I've my history of deeds and the sure knowledge that I don't need
anyone or anything to protect me.

I annoyed Brutis off my dog and rescued him. 
Jimmy nation was a skinhead asshole who *needed* a bad dog
to feel like he was tough but he was and is just a pussy.
BTW there is an official report of that incident filed that day or
the next.
Mostly because Nation had threated young neghborhood kids
I wanted eyes on him.

I knew a cat that liked to swim.

A cat damn near killed a Pinellas Park police officer out at a stable here
a few years ago.
It was crazed with rabies but it was the physical attack 
darned near killed the cop.
Insult to injury he had to take the shots.
Responding to a call about a ca attacking horses he thought it funny
but soon learned otherwise.

Like my sweet Cynthia.
When Officer Peter Vaughn threatened to shoot our dog Spanky
who was being totally inoffesive and friendly then grabbed sweet
and gentle Cynthia's wrists my meek Cynthia who was tossed
out of the United States Marine corp for being slightly 
too homocidally dangerous beat the living shit out of little 6'2"
officer Peter Vaughn, and Officer Owens too, and a small 
piece of officer Beeler.
Oops.
I do believe there just might be a record of that incident on or
about August 12, 1995 either just before or after midnight.   
I did a bit of emailing various senatorsm, representatives, judges
and lawyers over that one to help my little girl get a reduced sentence
for defending herself against unwarranted assault by officer 
Vaughn.
Vaughn wasn't  particularly well liked by the other two officers 
 and been moved around between various police departments a lot
but the blue code of silence seemed enough they lied about what
had happened.

She only got probation.
For punching out THREE cops with Peter getting it quite hard in the nuts
which put him down  while his buddies watched laughing for a couple
minutes until it became obvious my little sweetie was killing him
and they got out of their cruisers.
Yup, pretty sure there's a record of that. 
And for Peter's trip to the emegency room for much needed medical care.
She was after all using both her hands and elbow and the ball of her feet
in some enthusiastic kicks. 
Poor helpless 220 pound dude got the shit kicked outta him by my 
sweet baby.
Ah, fond memories.
I shall have to pull out her official psychiatric report for a read again.
I kept it for just that purpose.
Let me see if I can recall the phrase, yup.
