You have a SUZUKI! You lucky fellow. I had mine for nine years and it faithfully took me to work never once breaking down or costing me anything more than plugs, oil and a bit of drivechain oil on the chain and clutch, tachometer and speedo cables to get such relible and economical service from it. I paid 600 dollars for mine used with under 7 thousand miles on the odometer. It was cherry. Mine was a GS550CN with extraordinarily good handling characteristics, especialy with the Michelin hard compound tubeless tires ( but with a tube) as the magnesium and aluminum alloy wheels were early mags lacking the ability to run straight tubeless. However the Michelins were very good tires so I put them onm running a tube inside of them. I got five years out of those very stiff sidewall tires which I bought expressly for I used to drive the bike rather hard. I mean when it is my ass on the line I figure tires is not the place to be cheap. That sucker really handled and if it did break losse even in the rain behaved quite predicatbly fascilitating an easy recovery from a rain induced hydroplane. As you are no doubt aware from your own motorcycling experiences. Have a nice day. Nice chatting with you. Ta for now ...
