That is very nice, I have dump1090 running on one raspi, not all the time
though.
A yagi that is impressive! I just use the simple antenna that came with the
DVB-T stick.
As height is relative to receiver, or covered distance is 4.( sqrt(height1) +
sqrt(height2) )
my height at ground level has no effect on a plane that is at 30000 feet...
eehh 10 km eh...
The stick is omni directional.
You then get this:

dump1090 with a bit of extra processing...
I was beamed down in the Netherlands, and they told me I was an earthling,
for the rest ?
I schools here they were quite active teaching languages
French, English, German, and Dutch, French started at kindergarten already.
I spend quite some time in the UK and US, so that makes English even easier for
me.

Wrote the decoding software for that too.
I also run a server for the image (as above) on this raspi,
and wrote an app for the PC that records with ffmpeg to H264 as movie all day
long,
that is my main log now... all data included, just play back fast forward...
Some shipping AIS is also logged as text file on the raspberry though.
Old raspi, one of the first 'B', single processor, only 2 USB connectors.
It also logs CO level, and temperature + humidity, air pressure, all in the
movie it makes.
Easy way out..... video log :-)

As to 'sat signal' I am (radio ham license) working on receiving the Es'hail 2
geostationary satellite
ham radio transmitter, was just launched a few weeks ago by SpaceX, now moving
to its final position.
Movable 87 cm motorized dish.
OK, posting gets long...
