but sometimes a weak 9 volt battery drastically affects my guitar
effects, which affects my playing to where it's not nearly as effective
as it should be, and I can tell the audience is greatly effected by the
effects terrible sound....

actually I stopped by because I am quite the linux newbie, at least when
it comes to KDE, I finally got a machine that would handle it, up till
now I've only used small 'nix distros consoles, just enough to get my
fet wet....

I just got startx and KDE up and running and was poking around, and I
wanted to try a screensave, but the window was overssized so that the
button I wanted to click was at the bottom, I can't figure out how to
either resize the window so that it all fits on the screen, or maybe
it's because I am using a 640 X480 resolution and I should switch ot a
600 X 400 maybe...???

It's probably something simple/stupid I'm overlooking, but now matter
how high I scoot the window up, part of it is "below" the screen.....

hope you don't mind such a dumb "newbie" question, but I feel I've
accomplished a lot getting this far, with lilo nearly wacking my C:\DOS
drive and a few failed installation attempts, and finally getting my
modem recogonized and ppp setup, I'm taking it day by day :)
