Hi, Steve... SA> LL> Well, it's really quite simple. Repeat after me - SA> LL> "La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammadur rasoolu Allah." SA> LL> There you go. SA> LL> Now you are officially a Muslim. That reminds me of a cute joke where this Baptist man moved into a Catholic neighborhood, and they all became good friends. When Lent came around, the Catholics couldn't eat meat on Friday, so they're in their homes eating various preparations and variations of fish. All of a sudden, the smell of fresh cooked steak on a barbeque grill wafts through the air!! The Catholics are horrified to find that their Baptist neighbor is having a big barbeque cookout. This was torture for them...so, they went and talked with their Baptist neighbor. He agreed to go to Mass the next week with them, and find out how the Catholic faith was set up with its beliefs, etc. After several ritualistic ceremonies, the priest sprinkled water on the mans head and intoned "You were born a Baptist, you were raised a Baptist, and you are now a Catholic". His Catholic friends were relived that when Lent came around again, they wouldn't have the same problem they had before. But much to their shock...the first Friday of Lent arrives, and while the Catholics are eating their variations of fish, here comes the fresh smell of steak on the barbeque grill once again!! They think their Baptist neighbor must've forgotten that "he was now Catholic", and that he shouldn't eat meat on Friday during Lent. They scurry over in time to see their neighbor sprinkle water on the steak, and intone "you were born a cow, you were raised a cow, you are now a fish"!! :> My wife (a former Catholic) told this to her mother (a staunch Catholic)..and her mother just howled with laughter!!
