Hi Mike! >> With my labs, all they want to do is run, and they don't care where If >> someone leaves a gate open, they're GONE ......... > About your labs, do you have normal ones or ones that can eat you out > of house and home? 8-) I know it sounds funny, but we had a lab who if you > opened a 40 pound bag of food, would sit and eat it until she could not move. I guess I have one of each since one of ours would do that... She has been spayed, and I've seen her clean up her dish and Toby's (un-neutered) as well :) I have to keep my eye on her when the food get put out for the two of them :) Priscilla (the spayed one) must weigh a ton by now.. I think the last time she was weighed, she was over 100 pounds :( I've tried "diet" food too.. they both stick their noses up in the air at it haha > Of course we never let her, but she can put a teenager to shame. When asking >the vet about this, he just said some Labs can simply eat and not know when to > stop. And this one sure was one of them. It was amazing! A bottomless pit. 8) I wouldn't doubt that if I made the open bag available, she'd pork out on it :) :) When they were younger, I was most amazed though at how they ate the HOUSE itself :) :) When we were in Louisville, I remember they'd start digging, clawing and chewing until they'd eaten walls, floors, you name it. Not so bad I guess.. I have a friend who told me his labs ate the bedsprings out of his bed, and just umm.. passed them out in the yard .
