I am assuming you are using Slackware's version of KDE. Although most dist. KDE is same. You will need to tell what version of KDE you have. The configuration of XF86config in /etc or /etc/X11 is the key. There you can find a section named 'screen' that will have what size you are running. You can have other sizes and use 'ctrl alt +' to toggle thru the screen sizes. Usually you get the mouse pointer to the lower right corner of a window and click and hold while moving up/left to shrink or other way to expand. Click and hold in the upper blue border to drag whole window anywhere you want. There is a email list for kde you can sign up with, forgot the url for it. > It's probably something simple/stupid I'm overlooking, but now matter > how high I scoot the window up, part of it is "below" the screen..... > hope you don't mind such a dumb "newbie" question, but I feel I've > accomplished a lot getting this far, with lilo nearly wacking my C:\DOS > drive and a few failed installation attempts, and finally getting my > modem recogonized and ppp setup, I'm taking it day by day :) Warren --- BBBS/LiI v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Ocean Beach CA, (telnet): ob.darktech.org (1:202/745) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 202/745 261/38 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
