Does everyone need to be exposed to higher levels of math,
science, history, arts,etc...? Are we as educators simply training
folks for jobs? I think not. I have to agree with your, greatly,
Steve. I have learned basic, and by doing so, it has made my brain
better.
So what if a student chooses not to become a programmer? Is it
not a good thing that they learn to use that skill simply because it
will make them smarter?
