concerning George Hatchew and the cashing of checks and not sending any
keys for the reader. If anyone is interested in this news or wants details

For those of you thinking of registering the Blue Wave door, or a Blue Wave
reader, please note....
- George Hatchew (BW's author) is not issuing keys lately.
- There are numerous reports of checks being cashed, and no key issued.
- His support BBS number is disconnected.  Since he's also NC/NEC for his
  net, there's no way to contact him via Fidonet.  (I personally contacted
  the R11C regarding this point)
- He is not responding to internet email.
In -my- personal experience, I can tell you this:
A user desired that I install the BW door for Max.  I did.  He paid to
register it.  I mailed the check 4 weeks ago.  It's been cashed.
I've received NO registration key.  I've received NO reply to 8 different
netmail messages.  I've received NO reply to 8 different internet email
messages.
I have told George Hatchew (as of last night) that I plan to take him to
Small Claims Court in Flint Michigan (USA) in the next couple weeks if I do
not receive my registration, or a full refund.  (Flint is only an hour away,
so I've got no problem doing so.)
I feel bad that a user of MY bbs registered this door, and he's getting
nothing for it.
This is my story, and I hope it helps others from falling into the same pit.
