Hello All!
I've currently got a NEC P800 on the Vodaphone analogue tarrif... It's
borrowed
from a friend of mine, and I'm borrowing it for a couple of months until the
contract runs out.
He's paying something like œ13/month, but hasn't got any details of call
charges etc. to give to me. Could anybody oblige with the details? I know
t's
something like 50p/min peak, and 20p/min off-peak, but when are peak times?
Do I
get charged by the minute? Are weekends off-peak all day?
Also, are there any exciting numbers I can call for free, such as 150? I
assume
0800 numbers aren't free..? Are there any 'special rate' numbers, such as
pagers, Orange phones, etc. that cost different amounts to call??
And finally... (!) The phone says the following when it's switched on:
XXXXX BS <----- XXXXX is the signal strength bar
    4:44PM
Wed 1 Jan
 VODAFONE
The question is, what does "BS" mean???
Thanks,
Jonathan
... ...I had amnesia once... or twice...
