NOw as I've always understood, you don't have to be a sysop to moderate an
echo. Back in the day I seem to recall more than one echo moderator who
was *not* a nodelisted sysop. Iirc KEn Anderson, a moderator of Shareware
and a couple of other echoes back in 1995-96 was not a nodelisted sysop.
THere were others too, just can't think of names at the moment.
