-> ->> ->> I checked your links. The ABC news blog quotes the NY Daily -> News ->> ->> extensively as their source. They are a right wing -> mouthpiece EC>> Of course they are, Bob! They must be! They reported EC>> things that you didn't like! -> ->> Unless you are denying it, that was a non-sequitor. EC> There is nothing to deny or admit. You ignored the news EC> reports and dismissed them based on your meaningless EC> opinion of the newspaper that printed them. It is strange -> Ignored the reports? Repeating things seems to be your only skill. You ignored the news reports in the Daily News (which, by the way, were actually in the NEW YORK SUN, not the Daily News!) based on you rejecting out of hand anything printed in the paper. Now that you know you got the wrong paper, of course, you will choose to ignore what was reported in the Sun, because now THAT paper will be in your eyes "a right wing mouthpiece." And around and around you go. -> ->> ->> and one claims Bin Laden's son was operating out of Iran EC>> Actually it didn't say that at all. It said he had been EC>> given safe haven in Iran. That is old news to everyone but -> ->> Being *detained* is not being given safe haven. EC> Completely irrelevant to the fact that you got caught in a EC> gross misrepresentation. Being kept in Iran instead of EC> being turned over to the United States actually IS being EC> given a pretty safe haven. He was held under house arrest EC> for a time, which is far different from being locked up at EC> Gitmo, and it looks like he was released from house arrest EC> in 2006. Gee, why did they do that? Isn't he tied to Al EC> Qaeda? -> Ok, I called it an inability on your part above. Now I'm calling your -> comments a lie. Of course you do, Bob! You "call" all the time! It is an endless loop! And you never substantiate it! In this case, one of the news stories said he had been given safe haven. In your pathetic attempt to refute the story you misrepresent it to say he was conducting OPERATIONS out of Iran! That particular story did not say that. You misrepesented it. And you did so in a really weak fashion, since there are other reports that he was released from house arrest two years ago to set up the capability of conducting operations. But the point here is not the quality of your misrepresentation but the fact of your misrepresentation. And you compounded it by calling a truthful statement a "lie." Sadly typical of you. -> The CIA report, saying Saad Bin -> Laden was being held in Iran, was well after July 28, 2006. If he is not being allowed to leave Iran, that would be accurate and entirely consistent with the reports that he was released from house arrest in order to build up terrorist cells. As usual you are saying nothing relevant while you pretend that it is relevant. --- PCBoard (R) v15.3/M 10* Origin: (1:226/600) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/300 34/999 90/1 106/1 120/228 123/500 134/10 140/1 226/0 SEEN-BY: 236/150 249/303 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 1417 1418 266/1413 SEEN-BY: 280/1027 320/119 633/260 267 712/848 800/432 2222/700 2320/100 105 SEEN-BY: 2320/200 2905/0 @PATH: 226/600 123/500 261/38 633/260 267 |
