Hello All!
I have Samba installed on my Linux box and I am running Windows 3.11. I
manage to connect to my shares successfully. But when I access the files in
DOS I get problems.
As soon as I open a file I get "Bad Format - Abort, Retry, Fail etc." and I
get the same when I close the file.
But.....
I am running 4DOS 6 and this only seems to happen when I list an individual
file (ie LIST HELLO.TXT as apposed to LIST *.TXT), or when I dir an
individual file etc.
When in Windows I don't have a problem expect when I try to overwrite a file
(say in a word processor for example - I can save it under a different name).
Any Ideas?
Robert
