Actually it's really *OLD* advice Mark. I've been offering it here for years!

I haven't seen any of them on the Web personally. There used to be some leads 
club sorts of groups in Portland... I was involved in one once (actually with 
several other HOME_OFFICE moderators!), but mainly we just liked to get 
together for lunch at some great dim sum places downtown. ;D

My take has always been that, if I'm not willing to invest my $$$ in my 
venture, why should anyone else? I've always self funded businesses, starting 
small and reinvesting the proceeds to grow the business. It's a slower 
process, but much safer, and makes it easier to sleep at night too.
