While I have no problem with removing deferred adjudication for 
sex offenders (if they actually have committed the crime) as long
as the evidence is substantial, such as DNA or some other 
physical evidence that proves guilt beyond a doubt. Just one 
person word over anothers is not proof enough. I'm not sure how I
would feel about the "S" on a drivers license. Either way after a
substantial period of time in which a convicted offender has 
proven himself no longer a threat, he should no longer have to 
register as a convict offender and should be forgiven of his 
"sins". I know that's not P.C. but that's life.
Tell your husband good luck. If he's truly innocent he should 
never plead to a lesser charge. My family will be keeping you in 
our prayers. Keep us informed.
