AH>> It's been an excellent year for striped bass (rockfish) in
AH>> Liberty Reservoir northwest of Baltimore, MD. Recently, a record
AH>> fish of 41 lbs. 9 oz. was caught, and several others of over 30
AH>> pounds have been caught. Reportedly, the rockfish are breeding
AH>> in the reservoir, and are no longer stocked.
DH> How do you go fishing for striped bass? Do you use minnows or

AH> I don't fish for them. The information I posted was in our local
AH> paper, and I thought it would be of interest to fisherfolk. *adh*
Thanks, I am interested in striped bass. The idea of a 41 pound fish
hitting my line amazes me. If I was in the kayak, I'd be in real trouble
with a fish that size.
... I saw the biggest pike swim by and brush the boat it was awesome
