I can certainly relate. That is how my level's were
for a year. Then when my current doctor took it over
it was regulated at a stable level within a month so I
was only having to go in once a month for the pt test.
Now is a different story! I've had to get blood drawn
2x a week since he is trying to get it regulated since
I was in the hospital. It's where it should be now, but
we don't know what a stable dose is at the level that I
am supposed to be now. So I take it all in stride and
realize that being on the coumadin is a whole lot better
than having a stroke and being more limited than I
am now!
. I do hope you are healing well and that you are handling all the

Thank you for the encouragement. I've been doing my
crafty things and have been reading quite a bit when I'm
too tired to sit up. I do my e-mail a little at a time.
(Right now I'm sitting on an ice pack like my doctor
prescribed to help my sciatic nerve that is giving me
bigtime pain). The problem is I don't feel much like eating
healthy food...especially when my stress level is up like
it is today. I started out okay but then things got worse...
like the drip of the faucet turning into a flood (an
analagy of how the day has gone). So I did okay at
breakfast (I think I ate breakfast) but since then I haven't
had one thing that was nourishing except for the milk
and whatever was in the cookies I ate! But I'll take
things a day at a time and do what I can to manage the
emotional and physical pain as best as I can. I know
I rely on my friends, on-line especially, for the support
that I need right now.
Wendy
