August.. I enjoyed your story. It brought back many memories for me. I own a
Newfoundland, and had one previous to this one. Many times they are mistaken
for Black Saint Bernards.

My Newfies are/were the same. I often said that if somebody wanted to rob the
house, rather than protect the house, they are so friendly they would
probably help the burglars carry the stuff out

My First Newfie was a slobberer. During the summer, we actually had to carry
a slobber towel around with us. The latest one has a pretty dry mouth. but I
DO! know how they can slobber! And it couldn't have happened to a nice lad,
He deserved it. 8-) Have you ever seen the Beethoven movies or Turner and
hooch? In hooch it was a little exaggerated, but sometimes it seems like they
can slobber like that.

Hahahahaha, Let that be a lesson to him! hahahaha

Hahaheheheh Sounds like an real adventure.

Again, thanks for the story!

Have a good One!
Mike

... I thought I made a mistake once, but I was wrong...
