They were viewed as evil here, however seeing how we made it thru the cold
war without blowing each other up that was probably an incorrect view.

simply threat & fear.

I tend to think blowing up nightclubs full of civilians and crashing planes
full if civilians into occupied civilian office buildings is pretty evil..
