-=> Quoting William Elliot to John Boone <=-
>>> John Boone on Black and White
JB> However, as I pointed out to Clarence, when given, a
JB> either or statement of either good or evil, and not good
JB> leaves us with evil.
WE> This presumes that good and evil are truly mutually exclusive witch is
WE> the case except when good is equivalent to not-evil. Consider good
WE> to have money and bad to owe money. Then it is not true that 'either
WE> good or bad' for having no money and having no debts is neither good
WE> nor bad.
I don't think good and evil are equal counterparts. People routinely do
ood
for its own sake. I can't think of people doing evil for evil's sake.
