I don't think that's likely to be a problem.

It's a ceramic pickup,  basically the same idea.  The only thing I need to
put in there is something to give me the proper equalization...

I have plenty of small caps and ferrite beads and such stuff around to deal
with those issues,  and no particular strong sources of radio nearby,  so
I'm not terribly worried about it.
