For Spanky my non-neutered Pit Bull I grab his front teeth, ask in
a commanding tone to open, place the pill in the back of his throat and
then tell hinm to swallow.
Takes about 4 seconds usually.
Spanky loves cheese as well but I've no need to hide medications from
him.
This dog has never bitten but has been bitten by other dogs
14 times and repeatedly injured by a cat.
