RA>> I'm looking for a(n easy) way CC: Netmail to an entire net. Any RA>> suggestions? CM> Dunno about an "easy" way. I used Word4Windows last time. Loaded the CM> Nodelist, marked out what I wanted as a block, exited the Nodelist, New CM> doc, pasted the info, made a table using "," as the delimiter, deleted CM> unwanted columns, table-to-text, search and replace spaces as cr's, search CM> and replace on "_" and replaced with space. CM> I want to see some of the other replies though. There's just gotta be an CM> easier way ! Thanks, Chris (and others) for that. All responses I've received have been pretty much to that point. Of course, I was hoping for an easier, softer way such as CC: 1:138/all and have it use the Nodelist. I did about the same but blocked out everything but the leading ,### and deleted it then replaced each "," with "SysOp!1:138/". It's not as nice because the name field gets the generic "SysOp" but as seldom as I broadcast Netmail, it'll probably do. I considered tossing the node segment, minus host, hub, down entries, as a comma delimited file, into a database and have the report print out the 4th and 1st fields with the needed additional "zone:net/" and "!" (and translating any underscores to spaces). I'd say "you get what you pay for" but in the instance of this (and many other freely available apps), it would be so untrue and unfair to the developers. We're getting so many great features that, even without one or two features that we might like included, we're fortunate to have so many programmers giving their time, knowledge (and, usually, money) to our mutual hobby.
