Hi all,
Does anyone know of an ident client for Win95 that returns the Novell
login name? (If not, anyone willing to write one? :-) )
I want to be able to log who is accessing Squid on a LAN, not just the
computer name they happen to be using it from (which really doesn't tell
me anything, since it's a set of 11 machines in a library). I've been
trying to fiddle with dizzying concepts like matching ethernet addresses
to novell login names by hacking the arp source code and doing a couple of
IPX packets to the server, but the ultimate solution (as above) seems so
much easier, which just occurred to me.
Strange things happen when I don't get enough sleep.
