Hi Steve,
SE> MR>would be good sites to see that you would recommend?
SE>
SE> The coral reefs in the Keys are pretty spectacular if
SE> you've never done much Caribbean-style diving. There
SE> are several notable wrecks in the Keys, but most people
SE> come here because of the reef dives.
I would love to see the reefs especially when the reefs that I saw in
Hawaii were notably grey and dead but some of the coral was coming
back, I saw some purple coral growing in some spots. But I would like
to see sponges and sea fans and elkhorn coral. Any of that there?
SE> MR>gotten lost which was the ultimate reason why they died.
SE>
SE> It happens more often than you'd realize. :(
I was really surprised that my initial dives we went through some of
the lava tubes I was kind of scared til I started watching a trumpet
fish but then my instructor told me to keep going.(party pooper)
Have you done any cavern or cave diving??? I know there are wrecks but
are there any caves or caverns or do you have to go someplace like
"Ginny Springs"? I know I would like to go to the springs to and meet
the manatees, It really upsets me that people don't seem to care some
times about animal life. I got into dispatching because I wanted to
help people but I can tell you that after seeing what people do to
themselves, alot of violence in my city here. Not in my area like it
is in the south area of "Oak Park" that is where the gangs are. Put it
this way, My ambulance crews use to have two lights inside the cab of
the ambulance, one red, and one blue depending on the area they were
in. As a matter of fact the head technician at the Veterinary Center I
have been volunteering at said that she quit being an E.M.T. and became
a technician for the same reason. I still love the ocean and really
miss diving. I know that John and I are either going to take a
vacation to Florida or move there some time in the future, I just don't
know when exactly.
So what is new with you???
Marianne
