He he he he...no kidding!  Actually, here in Canada, we do not enjoy the 
"pre-ban exemtion" on the mags as you do.  Any mag for a handgun that can 
hold more than 10 rounds is considered a prohibited weapon now, with no 
exemption for those who owned them legally before the ban.  Mere possession 
of them now, unless you have them as a law enforcement officer or for 
government purposes is a criminal offence....not that I've actually ever 
heard of anyone being prosecuted for them yet...and the ban has been in 
effect for at least 4 years now.
