subject: Win31 plugins in Communicator/2 4.61?

Hi!

Finally I managed to download Communicator/2 4.61 990809 BETA2 preview and
installed it successfully. Now I have come across sites that requires the
Shockwave plugin, and as there is no native OS/2 Shockwave plugin I must
resort to the version that are for Win3.1: this package on www.macromedia.com
contains Shockwave 6.01 and Flash 3.10 win31 plugins.

Now the doc for Communicator/2 states that win31 plugins should be installed
in the x:\\Program\Win16\Plugins directory, so I started a
win-os2 session and ran the Shockwave installation from the file manager as
the Communicator/2 docs suggested - naturally I pointed Shockwave to the above
directory where it should install itself. It installed without any error
messages, so I closed the win-os2 session and fired up Communicator/2 to test
the Shockwave plugin.

To my dismay it didn't work at all. Inspecting the
comm461\program\win16\plugins directory showed that Shockwave had installed
itself there, but somehow Communicator/2 haven't realized it now could use the
Shockwave plugin.

Have somebody out there managed to install Shockwave plugin in Communicator/2
4.61, got it to work properly and can describe what steps are necessary to
successfully install (and perhaps configure) the win31 Shockwave plugin?

The same question goes for the win31 version of the Sizzler plugin in
Communicator/2 4.61.
