we couldn't have done the migration without doing the multiple ports and
multiple configs on the same machine thing... your blinders lead you to miss
other things in the same visual range... these two aspects being two of them...
we've done it more than once on OS/2 and on linux... no IPv6 muck needed or
used... sorry... multiple ports and multiple configs on the same machine just
work when configured properly...
