To me it's more a moral issue, but the way I view it isnt universal. I
think ¨it's Australia, where the law is actually different. Once you buy
the software ¨there, you can do as you please with it. A subtle yet still
distinct ¨difference from the actual lisence agreement which says you can
use it for ¨yourself how you like, but the origional company still 'owns'
it and if you ¨want to sell it, you have to pay a license transfer fee to
make it legal.
It's not just Microsoft I make reference to. There are others like
¨'Santronics' (BBS software) which does this. What the people in that
contry ¨are doing is perfectly legal there, just that it isnt what the
software ¨developer intended.
